    Palm buys Handspring

"Palm plans to buy Handspring and spin off PalmSource as a
separate company, the company said Wednesday.

Palm is currently made up of two companies; PalmSource, which
develops the Palm operating system, and Palm Solutions Group.
After the spin-off of PalmSource, Palm Solutions Group will
merge with Handspring to create a new company, to be renamed
later in the year, Palm said in a statement.

Could this be the end of Treo????...stay tuned. I guess the big competitors will be Sony on the consumer front and RIM Blackberry on the business end.

Hmmm maybe Palm can start integrating all those nifty Handspring attachments.

That's just in the Palm world. I've omitted the Pocket PC's of course.

      Klipsch Buys API

Hopefully that doesn't turn in to a melding that dillutes individual brands sonic characteristics. But on a good note, with Klipsch backing the smaller brands, they should have access to better distribution, more stores etc which is a positive for the consumer....

      Orbital vs. palm sander
      by Finleyville
      Anyway...

I only know that the palm sander can use standard sandpaper cut to size and the orbital uses hook and loop backed circular sanding sheets. Some orbital models have dust collection too.

Besides that what are their differences? Are they used for different jobs?...
