    Affordable HTPC cases coming?

Go Antec!...the styling ain't quite as nice as Dign so we might call this poor man's HTPC but it's a definate step in the right direction. And I'm always for the poor man's solution (are you getting the hint...I'm cheap...but never easy :P ).

Anyways styling is pretty subjective, so what the heck.

Interesting, Gordon, to see some other alternatives, particularly having Antec get into the fray. I've used a lot of their cases for PC builds for friends and families; nothing fancy in the esthetics department, but always very reliable. The nice HTPC one will come with one of their "True Power" supplies, also.

I've been partial to ATC cases for living room applications- they're not the cheapest, but they're not unreasonable, and they are very lightweight and easy to move around.

Their desktop/media style case makes a nice PC package for putting one in a rack with conventional components- only caveat is that it requires a Micro ATX board, not a standard one. Works pretty well with an Asus Nforce based micro ATX board. Cost locally (silicon valley) was about $160.
