TMD Fan - No center motor

Moving the motor to the outside of the fan allows for greater surface area for fan blades. If the motor remains powerful enough this fan could be revolutionary.

Looks like the 70mm versions will be out this month with 60mm & 80mm models to follow. I'm looking forward to finding one for sale ASAP.

Not just yet. Antec and a few other distributors will be offering the 70mm version on a heat sink within the week (for P4s). I scour the case mod sites weekly hoping the fans will pop up.

I'll let you know if I find anything.
It's cool looking too, isn't it?

            I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey projected from 70mm!
            by Patrick Sun
2001: A Space Odyssey was projected in 70mm at the Fox Theater last night in Atlanta.

Sheesh, this is what I endured to get to the Fox theater:

            1. Pouring rain during the drive in town to the Fox.
            2. Looking for parking in a humongous downpour, the streets were...

            Motor

The motor assembly of a loudspeaker driver is responsible for creating the magnetic field that interacts with the voice coil, allowing the driver to convert electrical signals into sound waves. The design of the motor assembly affects the driver's efficiency, power handling, and overall performance. While there can be various motor assembly configurations, the most common type is the "permanently magnetized motor." The motor assembly of an average loudspeaker driver...

Help with changing the fan on a Behringer EP1500
            by Dotay
I purchased a Behringer EP1500 to power an Avalanche 15" sub. I had planned on swapping out the fan for a quieter upon receiving it. I purchased a quiet case fan for a computer but the computer fan has a three wire plug whereas the fan on the amp is a two wire plug. Here is a pic of the inside...

            RSX 1067 Cooling Fan: "On-n-off-n-on-n-off-n-on-n-off"
            by Wedge
I'm wonderfully satisfied with my Rotel RSX 1067 and have enjoyed it for close to 2 years. However, today I noticed something new. After an extended listening to a DVD in 7-channel stereo--the fan started and stopped, repeatedly--as if it just couldn't get started. It'd run for 1/2-1 second; turn...
