    Favorite Freeware?

Ok what's your single most favorite freeware program that you use? Mine would easily be my FTP client SmartFTP. Its incredibly easy to use and is feature packed. Plus for freeware its got tons of support. Check it out at http://www.smartftp.com

For me I would have to say i get the most pleasure out of Winamp. I have always liked that program.
close second would be the defunct Morpheus.

Bing cool wallpaper. So you run your desktop at 1900 but only use one layer for the bottom toolbar? I only run at 1024 but always have a double toolbar...then again I have 26 icon's docked

Thanks Andrew, that's Hurricane Floyd. Even in it's devestation I was truely captured by it's awesome power of the image....

I run my desk at 1600 x 1200, and use to run a dual layer quick launch, then I found that i was getting too many Icons on the bar. Then I ran the task bar in Auto hide for a while, but then that just annoyed me. So I'm back to a single with just a few quick launch apps. I like the way XP maps the last used applications, this allows me to keep a clean tool bar and desk top.

                    Thanks for the link, Bing!

Here's a stupid question: How do you extend the quick launch bar in WinXP? In Win2k you could just drag the vertical line...but there is no vertical line in WinXP. What am I missing?

Sili, right click on the task bar and un-check "Lock the taskbar". The vertical line and horizontial drag lines will appear.
