i recently purchased a d-link media player for my HT. I installed it using Ares as my music source. This worked great the first day. Second day there was a signal problem so i went to the installation on the deskto and it would not open. I opened up ARES and seen that it had somehow scanned my computer drawing into it all my pics and some system files. My wife uninstalled ARES from the computer and by doing so erased all pics saved to my copmputer. all the files containing the pics is still there but no pics JpgPlaylist.sls is the icon now showing in my file list.
I searched the whole computer for pic files and got nothing
Please help
Has anybody encountered this and if so can it be rectified. I dont want to send my computer to a tech and spend a tonne of money if i cant retrieve them
