    Decent Web cam?

    Hey!

I'm looking for a DECENT (read: good but low priced) web cam for my laptop (used as my desktop 'puter).

    Any recommendations would be great!

    I am on broadband ADSL.

Also, what is the best way to talk to/ see someone about 100 miles away when it comes to software? MSN, Netmeeting? ????

    Thanks people.

NOTE: Low cost / great product (as usual!) Also, if it fits on the top of a laptop, that would be good, or does that limit my functionality?

    :later:
    .

It will be interesting to see what people post.

I researched this a couple months ago and found nothing but a raft of complaints on the Logitech forum. Some threads were started years ago and there was still no resolution to the problems posted. Creative Labs forum seemed to have somewhat fewer complaints.

Most digital camera's have a usb webcam function as far as I know. That's likely the route I'd go if you can as you'll also have a decent cam to use as well as arguably a better quality webcam.

I should add that the problems people were posting on the Logitech and Creative Labs forums were primarily software related. Driver problems or conflicts with XP.

Classe CAM Mono Blocks or Music Fidelity 550K Superchargers?
          by beden1
I have been looking into upgrading the amps for my main 803Ds. These speakers do require some decent power.

I am currently using a Classe CAV-150 (6 channels X 150 watts), that I had set-up for bi-amping my front three speakers. Recently, I changed to connecting my five speakers through...

My digital camera (Canon A60) can capture short movies in the AVI format. They look pretty decent for a digital camera but I'd like to share them with family and friends by streaming them over the web. I figure I need to convert the AVI into quick time and upload it to my website. I have a copy of QuickTime...

CA-401 with long speaker cables or CAM-350s with long XLR cables?

          CAM 400 vs CAM 600
          by ian1975
          Hi to all,

Will I hear any major difference switching from the CAM-400 to CAM 600 using the 802 d or 800 di? Are the 800 di need more power than the 802 d?

          Thanks

          Classe CAM 400 with 803s - an overkill ?
          by Eliav
          Hi
I am about to upgrade my 1095 ( driving 803s) to classe. I have two options
          1. Buy CAM 400 monoblocks and keep my rotel 1068 as of now, later upgrade to a better pre-amp .
          2. Buy CA2200 with an ssp-300.

In other words, is the CAM 400 an overkill for the 803s ?...
