I purchased a Sony STR-555ES reciever without the original remote. I use a Sony RM-AV2100 remote commander to run it. Speaker set-up requires white noise activated by a button on the original remote. How can I simulate this function with the programmable AV2100?

Sir Wildman,
Question: The remote does not provide the option once you select the Sony Code choices (001 or 002)? Perhaps the option may be hidden deep in the Sony menu, be sure to try both codes.
If not, I would contact Sony support and/or go to remotecentral.com to see if there is an answer available.
Just my quick thoughts, I'm sure others here can provide advice.
Peace and blessings,
Azeke- Bottom

I read something about some remotes have a parity signal, that changes everytime you use a function. All I know is that you can only use...-
