Not bad considering it is more than just a game thingy....
'course I wouldn't consider it until it hits $299 or less, probably when the Sony lands.
TORONTO — The Xbox 360, the first of the next-generation video game consoles, will start at $399.99, Microsoft announced today. There will also be a deluxe model for $499.99.
There is no specific release date at this time other than this holiday season, although one local retailer cited Nov. 9. The premium version will include a 20-gigabyte detachable hard drive plus a headset, wireless controller, faceplate, high-definition AV cable, Xbox Live Silver membership and bonus remote.
The core version comes with a wired controller, faceplate and standard cable. The original Xbox sold for $459 when it was released in November 2001. It now retails for about $240.
Sony is slated to release its PlayStation 3 next spring while Nintendo debuts its Revolution some time in 2006.
