I've been seriously looking at the 50HD, but then someone today tried to sell me on the Dwin Transvision 3. Does anyone have any opinion on this projector?

Adz, I've seriously considered the TV3 as well. It just got a facelift, too. It's considered to be one of the best on the market for 16:9 one chip DLP's.
I especially liked the Dwin transcoding box that's included, requiring only one cable to be run to the projector. The ONLY reason I didn't end up buying the TV3 was I didn't have that much money. Period.

This morning I turned on my preamp first. My RMB 1095 comes on because of the 12v trigger immediately. When I went to turn on my RB 1090(no 12v trigger) I didn't depress the button all the way till it clicked and let it go. All of a sudden I heard like a mini power surge or what... -
