Interesting comparison review of these two new projectors. Bottom line is that they are EXTREMELY comparable, it looks like, in most features and price.

These are both very excellent projectors. Man, lcd technology has come a long way since my first Sharp lcd pj with its crumby total of 130,000 pixels per panel at a price of $6000. The Sanyo and Panny have over 900,000 pixels per panel and will probably sell in Canada at half the price of my first Sharp lcd.

Seems each has a slight advantage over the other, but I would bet that the lens shift of the Sanyo will help sell a lot of units over the Panny.
