    Moving helped my video.

I decided to re-calibrate the tv since the room changed and moving it cross country.

Maybe I just didn't do a good job with AVIA the first 4 times at my other place. But, now my shadow detail and light output seems perfect. A real 3-D picture with very clean blacks. Blacks that are of several shades.

I may hold off even longer now doing a tv or dvd upgrade. Though, my JVC television has a poor comb filter.

My TV listed in my sig. doesn't seem to have any definition with blacks and very dark colors. Any ideas what setting I need to change in order to remedy this? Thx.

My impressions will speak more to the animation than the story, since 95% of the dialog got by me. My friend explained a bit of it to me after the film, but he is completely fluent (half japanese...

You know, when I see Morgan Freeman in a role, he always seem to breeze right thru it. In this film he plays a lawyer who is also, a recovering alcoholic and an ex-marine. He is called to help Ashley Judd (the wife of an accused marine) whom is also a lawyer but, with a very...

"NEW" Toshiba 3780 Progressive Scan Dvd Player
        by John Holmes
I've had this player for almost two weeks now. My wife surprised me with it as part of our anniversary celebration. Sorry, I cannot post a picture as Toshiba doesn't even list it on their site. Also, I can't begin to tell you how it performs in progressive mode because, I do not own an HDTV as of yet....
