Fujitsu Plasma Settings im stuck on

Can some please help me with some of the settings on my display and what I should set them too?

    1. Detail Gradation (on, off)

    2. 3D NR (min, mid, max, off)

    3. CODEC NR (min, mid, max, off)

    4. Motion Setting (-1,-2,0,+1,+2)

    any ideas?

I usually set any/all NR options to off. Detail Gradation, watch something with it on and with it off and see what difference it makes. If it makes the picture appear "sharper", chances are it's adding edge enhancement which isn't a good thing for picture fidelity.

Motion Setting is probably for 3:2 pulldown etc. I'd set it to 0 initially and if you see combing or other motion artifacts when watching movies or TV try the other settings.

      Kevin,

Thanks for your reply. With regards to the motion setting what (in theory) would the max setting do vs the min setting?

        1066 Default Setting
        by Parrot Head
I need to ask what may be a dumb question about the 1066’s Default Setup. I’ve been adjusting the rear channel settings via the remote to approx. +7dB. I find this (although it may be a bit exaggerated) improves the surround experience when listening to basic cable.

        My problem...

DPLIIx Settings and Room Sizes - Just Checking!
        by Chris CRt
        Hello!

I was just curious to see what you all are doing in the setup menu for Dolby Pro Logic IIx and what size your room might be. I've been playing with the settings for a little bit now and am starting to find how each works (good and bad) with the signal.

        I can definitely...

        Crossover settings
        by newguy987
This could be a noobie question, however I'm going to ask it anyways. There seems to be a little bit of confusion when it comes to Ideal crossover settings. I Understand that when you select "large" for speaker size, that the speaker receives the full signal(20htz-20khz), and that when you...

Rotel 1066 BM and sub settings??
        by scottnv
I have a couple of questions for the group out there:

I notice the RSP-1066 seems to have two subwoofer settings - you can adjust the sub setting in the test tone screen and also you can adjust it in the subwoofer setting screen. Are these two screens interactive - if you adjust the sub...
