After about 18months the above plasma screen stopped working today.

The self diagnostic lights indicated that there may have been a dust issue so I followed the manual and used a vacuum cleaner to clean the back of the TV.

This did not extinguish the lights.

Any thoughts before I spend a bomb getting a technician out?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I take it it's out of warranty? You could try contacting the manufacturer or your retailer where you bought it....otherwise it's off for servicing I'd say.
