Am looking at buying either a screenplay 5700 or a Panasonic 900e projector, both similarly priced.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these projectors and could comment.
The other thing is that i have a fairly small room, I could only have the projector back about 11 or 12ft from the screen. The Panasonic has a bigger angle up close, what would be the better option for this?
What are the pros and cons for both. the 5700 is also a $1000 more expensive, any reason for that, is it just the matterhorn chip?

). The 900 also provides better mounting options, with Lens Shift and 2X manual zoom. I certainly don't regret my decision, picture is not as sharp as a DLP, but it more than makes up for it with beautiful eyepopping color, no RBE or VB. Add an upcoverting DVD player, and HDTV, you'll never want to leave your home. Just ensure you have a light controlled room if you choose the 900E. So I guess you know which I would choose.
