Using a Pioneer Elite Plasma stand on a non-Elite Plasma

Hi does anyone know if the black glossy plasma table top stand for the 50" Elite versions fit the non-Elite version?

I owned the PDP-5040 display which has the nice black glossy trim but I hate the silver tabel top stand that comes with it.

I was thinking of buying the stand for the Elite version. The model of that stand I think is PDK-1012. Thanks.

Best bet would probably be to email Pioneer or get your dealer to test it out
