Some good LCD news down the road from Sony.

Certainly looks like Sony is moving in the right direction. The degradation of their panels, especially the blue polarisers, has always been a problem for Sony PJ owners. -
This seems to indicate that they are going to keep SXRD a high end product and keep LCD for the masses.Comment

I had a Sony LCD RPTV for nearly 4 years and 9000 hours and the picture looked just like new when I sold it (for the same amount that I bought it for). :T
But we will have to see if the contrast improvements are visiblly better, or just technology for it's own sake. :BComment
