What are the best De-Interlacers and in which Models they are in?

Runco obviously has the best overall tuning of all projector-brands and gets more out of lower-resolution chips than other brands with higer resolution chips.
Everone is talking about the DLP-Chip, but smooth movements in the picture seem to depend more on the quality of the de-interlacer.

Has anyone qualified information on de-interlacers you should go for or you should not go for with the Matterhorn Chip as well as the HD2+ Chip?
I have doubts that the low-cost HD2+ Chips can afford appropriate de-internacers.

Arguments about your Runco comment aside, Faroudja is pretty widely acknowledged as providing one of the best in-projector de-interlacing solutions. There are others that provide very good performance as well.

When you say low cost HD2+ chips, are you referring to low cost PJs that include them? Because the TI chip used in a particular PJ has no bearing on the quality of the de-interlacing, that is a completely separate issue.
