    Finally watched LOTR

    Put it on last night. Had the Denon volume set at -15. HOLY SH-T !
    This morning I checked all the foundation walls for cracks. Wheew, none so far.

          We watched LOTR a couple weeks ago, and when I first put it on I had to quickly turn the volume down. I think this movie is the first time I ever heard my receiver distort. I guess I won't be watching this flick anywhere near reference until I get into some serious ampage! The sub rumbled non-stop through some of the action scenes. Lots of fun, and an interesting story too.

          The picture quality was impressive too.

              Only had time for the first 45 minutes last night.......lol...it has some serious sub rumblings so far and the special effect are pretty good. :E

              I bet it is even better on a big screen instead of a 27", not sure this size does the movie justice.
