    Good acting, story and tension. The visuals and mood are suitably quite dour and drab. Not a "great" film but a pretty darn good one IMO.

      Yeah, I saw this some time ago, Jason. It's a good example of how it was in Ireland at that time, and probably still is, to some degree. I found it to be a pretty intense film.

          Yeah definitely tension filled pretty much throughout.

          I was over there in the early 2000's and Northern Ireland/Belfast still had some of that "feel" to it. A bit unnerving to be honest.

              This movie finally came to our town this weekend!!!
              All I'm going to say is GO SEE IT!!! It's worth whatever you have to pay to see it.
              Dafoe should get an Oscar for his performance in this one, he's aways been a favorite of mine, so perhaps I'm alittle bias here...but I don't think so....
