    Review of "Deadfall"

How can you tell we've been getting a lot of Rain here in Montreal!!??. I spun yet another DVD yesterday called "Deadfall". This is actually a very good film and kept me watching intently!. And if the film is not good enough to keep you watching, the star actress (Forget her name) will most certainly keep you watching!! :T . This brother and sister stumble into this small town after a robbery and a subsequent car crash there and reek havoc on the town.

Very well filmed and shot with good acting performances as well. Drama/thriller. 7.5 /10 stars.

ps....Put the kids to bed before spinning this please.

The girl's name is Olivia Wilde, Dan. I watched this a few weeks ago and thought it was okay, but the plot was a bit contrived.

Saw this a while back. Was a bit disappointed, considering the acting talent on hand. Did you catch the shot of Dunn's Smoked Meat Deli near Dorchester Square even though that scene was supposed to be in Detroit?

What are you watching from your Netflix/Blockbuster/Redbox queue?
          by Chris D
I thought this might be an interesting thread. A lot of us are continually cycling flicks through our players, rented from Netflix, Blockbuster, or others. And yet somehow, I still can't seem to get my Netflix queue below the 500 max limit! Every time I watch a chunk of movies and drop my queue numbers,...

The film is based on an Elmore Leonard novel and stars Mickey Rourke as an assassin for hire. When Diane Lane's character and her husband, Thomas Jane, witness a crime involving Rourke, they go into a witness protection program and Rourke knows he has to find them and take them out .

Just finishing playing for my new 5900 for 6 hours. All I can say is wow!

This thing is so HUGE it's even bigger in size then my Bryston 4BSST! Prepare your rack for a big piece of equipment, maybe 50% bigger then my Denon DVD-3800.

Anybody ever heard of Madeline Zima, Vanessa Zima, and Yvonne Zima? Well, they all have one thing in common, you can figure it out on your own, other than "acting". There were facts I didn't know, I only started with the knowledge that I saw Madeline in early Episodes of Californication,...

Time to use your expertise to help improve many peoples lives!

I live in a city of 93,000 people and we have had only two real AV retailers for many years. The two retailers carry many of the same products, and the nearest third retailer is 1 1/2 hrs away. Needless to say this whole area...
