    Everything The Green Lantern wasn't

The name of the movie is "I Am Number Four". Wasn't boring, wasn't predictable. Was interesting, was surprising. Can't help comparing it with Green Lantern. Both actually have a similar premise, only "I Am Number Four" was probably made for about one tenth of the cost and has ten times more interest.

I missed this at the theaters, absolutely worth watching on DVD.

I know GL is going to be just eye candy. But I am Number 4 made me fall asleep. I usually love this kind of movie. But i stopped it, went to bed. And I havent gone back yet. Kinda reminded me of the Dragonball Evolution movie but I actually likes that movie.

Could be I enjoyed the movie because I had no preconceived expectations. I didn't even know that it was going to be a Sci-Fi movie.

I enjoyed I am Number 4 also...and I am not a fan of the genre.

Interesting. I wasn't even going to bother with this one but maybe I'll give it a rent.

I found it to be rather good and ordered the book after watching it. The second book should be shipping soon. The book seems to be pretty close to what I saw in the movie though, so I'm not sure I'll make it through the whole thing now that I saw the movie first.

I saw this one in the theater I liked it, bought it day one of release.

I'm not sure whats with all the hating on it when it came out. I heard/read everything from "its total garbage" to its "x-men meets twilight".
I recommend giving it a chance and rent it and see what you think.
