Just finished watching. I knew the movie was in trouble when I started fast forwarding. Terrible. Simply terrible...

:35: for me. Reference quality for picture and sound, and the not-too-standard storyline kept things pretty interesting. It could have scored higher on my personal scale, but keeping the intensity and violence at a PG-13 level robbed it of some needed gravity/desperation ala the original Terminator and its R rating..

I watched this last night and was really glad I added it to my collection. Definitely different for a Terminator film but I thought it all quite appropriate.- Bottom

I bought it on blue Ray,i skipped the theater.
I found the lighting used kind of threw me off.Others I know who saw it felt the same way.For some I'm sure it wouldn't matter.
For my taste it felt more like a big budget T.V version of what a Terminator movie is supposed to be about.
I still can't say why after this movie what makes the character John C. the savior of the world.I would have liked that dealt with better.
Was it a total letdown.......No...I will watch it from time to time I admit as there are certain things that I did like. But the movie felt like a let down over all.A Man should never Gamble more than he can stand to loose.- Bottom

Given its critical reception, I was expecting very little from this film. Not groundbreaking in any way, but still entertaining. Picked up a used BD to complete my collection of the four films. When I get the time (once a year, the wife and kids head to Florida for 10 days to visit the grandmother and I remain home, so I usually have movie marathons), I'm going to do the four of them in short order and see if they hang together.- Bottom

by MarkjWatched Terminator this weekend got the new SE DVD of it. I found it to be a darker film than T2. Some of the special affects were great. The weakest special affect was after terminator walks out of the burning gas truck. It looks very jerky. But other than that it was well done. The story and acting...-

Apparently there will be a role for a Grandpa terminator of some kind. Nobody knows what Arnold's role will be yet... I threw the Grandpa in.
