Doomsday on BD

For fans of Mad Max style future dystopias, a decent rental, though I would not personally recommend a purchase as it offers nothing especially original. It will give your sub a workout though and while the movie is mediocre, the visuals are top notch. It is somewhat gory, though, so be advised. You have to be in the right mood to appreciate this, but if you are in such a mood, it's worth one viewing.

I concur. But, in my case, I bought it because I usually like to spin these kinds of films every once in awhile as a change.

Well, someday a used copy or a bargain price will come along and I'll likely pick it up--but for me, the current price for this is more than I want to pay.
