    Long live the King

I am surprised, but it seems I am to be first to comment on the “The Last King of Scotland”.

I could find no fault with this film. While not a light hearted dramatization of true events, this film captures the history of a sad event that seems destined to repeat with the continuing way in which foreign relations between rich and poor nations have been and are still conducted, but in a very personal and realistic way in which only fiction could portray reality.

One the best jobs of acting in the past ten years and in the hope of generating some feedback, the only thing else I can say is, if you see only one film this year, see this one

Latest press release from Parasound. I have a personal connection to this one, as I grew up in Colorado, and played sports with Columbine High School. The Columbine massacre really touched me, as I would imagine it did to all of us. I think I'm going to send a message the way of Andrew Robinson,...

When Bruckheimer messes up things, he does it royally. King Arthur, this version anyway, is supposed to be closer to fact than legend. Who knows ? (t was definitely...

              Centurion
              by Ovation
Not a "date movie" by any stretch, Centurion is a decently entertaining, if not especially original, action film set in Scotland during the early days of Hadrian's Wall.

A breezy 93 minutes makes it a good choice when you're in the mood for a Roman adventure but don't feel like...
