Latest press release from Parasound. I have a personal connection to this one, as I grew up in Colorado, and played sports with Columbine High School. The Columbine massacre really touched me, as I would imagine it did to all of us. I think I'm going to send a message the way of Andrew Robinson, this film maker, and say hi.
San Francisco Based Electronics Manufacturer, Parasound, to Partner with Indie Film
ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURER, PARASOUND, WILL SUPPLY INDUSTRY LEADING AMPLIFIER TECHNOLOGY TO UNIQUE INDEPENDENT FILM PROJECT IN 2013.
[FOR IMMEDIATE JOINT RELEASE] Los Angeles, CA -October 16, 2012 - San Francisco based electronics manufacturer, Parasound, has partnered with independent filmmaker, Andrew Robinson, and his upcoming romantic comedy, Love In Training in order to provide world-class amplifier technology to the film's production facilities.
Parasound has been an industry leader for many years and is used by renowned studios and professionals the world over such as Lucasfilm, Pixar, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, Kanye West and Gary Rydstrom. Parasound products have even been credited on screen in films such as Star Wars Episode I, Episode II and Episode III.
"Working with Parasound on Love In Training is a bit of a dream come true for me. Parasound was the first high-end amplifier I ever purchased while still in college and I bought it because of Parasound's storied reputation among the studio elite. I was pleased when it turned out to be among the better sounding products I'd ever heard. Now, some 12 years later, I get the opportunity to work with the very men and women who helped inspire me to get into this business, which is amazing and a storyline worthy of a Hollywood script," said Robinson, the film's writer/director.
The post production team behind Love In Training will be utilizing products from Parasound's flagship Halo line of products, specifically the A 51 and A 52 amplifiers. Both the A 51 and A 52 carry with them THX Ultra 2 certification as well as circuitry design by the legendary John Curl, who has been creating industry leading designs with Parasound for decades. The A 51 and A 52 represent not only Parasound's commitment to quality and reliability but also affordability as both amplifiers can be reasonably purchased by every-day consumers via Parasound's vast dealer network. The A 51 multi-channel amplifier retails for $4,500 where as the less expensive A 52 can be purchased for $2,500.

About Love In Training
Love In Training is the second feature length film from independent filmmaker Andrew Robinson. Love In Training is a light-hearted romantic comedy loosely based on Robinson's own experiences working at a private wildlife facility. A portion of the film's budget, as well as proceeds, are being donated to wildlife conservation efforts around the globe.
Robinson's previous film, April Showers, starring Tom Arnold (True Lies) and Illeana Douglas (To Die For) dealt with the trauma and psychological impact a Columbine-like school shooting has upon the survivors and surrounding communities. April Showers was written and directed by Robinson, who was a senior at Columbine High School during the April 20, 1999 shootings. April Showers was released theatrically in 18 cities nationwide in 2009 before later being acquired by WarnerVOD for distribution via video on demand (VOD) and streaming services.
