    Quotes from
    The Matrix Reloaded

Merovingian: I love French wine, like I the French language. I have sampled every language, French is my favorite. Fantastic language. Especially to curse with. Nom de dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperie de connard d'enculé de ta mère. It's like wiping your ass with silk. I love it.

I thought it was funny, but hey, I like sick humor. See, there are three kinds of people in the world. The funniest was when the lady says something like, "I would make love to you right now if only you could promise me you will never die." He says, "I will never die." So dang funny. My wife kept giving me that 'this is so stupid' look, but I caught her laughing a few times.

Team America World Police is probably the funniest movie I've ever seen. It's completely irreverent and distasteful in very clever ways.

It's filmed perfectly and acted (if you will) even better.

I certainly understand that many folks will not enjoy it, but I think it’s an incredibly brave and insightful parody of American pride. I hesitate to use the word brilliant but I kind of feel that way.

            Just my 2 cents

                Canadians in the arts industry

                Yes,
The percentage of Canadians in the arts, film, ballet, broadway, hollywood, music, etc. is astounding! 35 million Canadians (40 Million Californians for an example)

Anyway, America couldn't ask for a better neighbor.

                    I love this movie!!

I know it's not "PC" (then again, I don't like Overly-PC anyway), but I love their wacky humor and how they goof and bust chops on anyone, everyone and everything.

I'm a big lover of South Park, too.

And yeah, I'm very fond of our Canadien neighbors!

I'm sure there are many who will disagree, but...

                      IMHO Team America was:

                      Mindless,
                      Obscene,
                      Disrespectful,
Yet… Very Funny :alol: (you have to appreciate that the producers accepted the limitations of puppetry and just went with it)
                      Excellent...

There was a post on this a few months back in AT THE MOVIES, but since it is now out on dvd I will post my comments on it here.

At the beginning of this film, Willis is a hostage negotiator. Things go terribly wrong and Willis is devastated. A year later he is a police chief in a small...

Jackie Chan explains a stunt in Police Story
                      by oldbob
I first met Jackie on "Cannonball Run". He had a very minor role and I don't believe he could speak any English at that time. However, he is such a natural born clown he had everybody laughing the little bit of time he was on the set. At that time I had never seen a Jackie Chan movie. Later...

                      America's Sweethearts- whose movie?
                      by JonMarsh
I saw this movie this weekend. I've seen a few different reviews by people, some not all that hot (B-, C+) discussing this as "the new Julia Roberts Movie". And then they complain about how small a role Julia Roberts had in this movie.

Reality reset time, folks. Julia Roberts...
