Yep, George Lucas announced at ShoWest that in 2007, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the theatrical opening of Star Wars, he'll be releasing the original trilogy in 3D. There was no word on whether the format will be standard DVD or high-def.

Seriously though, if the 3D is done right, the opening scene from Episode 4 with the Star Destroyer chasing Princess Leia's ship will be frickin' AWESOME!!! Woohoo! :banana:.

Ok, I know this is a game, but I just finished it the other day on the easy level and must say, WOW this would be a great movie.
