    Jersey Girl

    M'eh....

    sort of a so-so.

    It has genuine moments combined with some really contrived moments.

    Affleck has some decent acting moments and some really poor acting moments.
    Liv Tyler stands out moreso as does George Carlin.

    All in all a renter at best.

    Not Kevin Smiths best. It was a good try....but that's about it.
    Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

          I still think Kevin Smith's best work is "An Evening With Kevin Smith". Now, that's funny stuff. Worth the price of admission just to hear the "How He Met His Wife" and "Prince" stories. Jersey Girl was decent.

                  In many respects this was an interesting film if the underbelly of the drug scene in the 70s and 80s intrigues you. There was certainly good acting here, especially by Johnny Depp, but I felt the filmaker was trying a little to hard to get sympathy for his lead character, particularly toward the end....
