        To me yes it is.

Alot of it is going to depend on if you liked Goodfellas I think or not.

Casino might be a keeper to most people, but I can not get the images of one particular scene out of my head to this day and that alone will prevent me from owning it. Anyone that has viewed the movie probably knows the scene

when Pesci gets whacked with the bat towards the end I just can't get past that scene, it was that brutal to me.
          IMO

It's a brilliant movie with Deniro playing one of his better roles.

I own it and also find that one scene very disturbing. I bought it without having watched it before. Still a good movie. I have been thinking about it now and I have only watched it once. It must be due to that scene.

I love this movie. Personally I thought the most brutal scene was when Deniro had the casino guys teach the cheaters a lesson my bashing his hand with a hammer. It doesn't pan away or anything, just shows the guys hand getting discombobulated. "From now on I want an equal amount of blueberries in each muffin!".

Great Stuff! I wonder what the bonus items will be since I own the first release already.

                  Well I picked this up.

The movie is presented on the flip side of a DVD-18. The extras are on the 2nd disc which I haven't gotten to yet.

                  PQ is very good
SQ is adequate in DD 5.1 Given they squeezed the movie and its 5.1 track on one side I didn't expect a DTS track which is fine.

Definitely a keeper but the whole hammer scene still shakes me pretty good inside.

It's definitely a keep, Tex. Great performance by Sharon Stone as Deniro's wacky girlfriend. But very, very violent scenes indeed.
