    Boys Don't Cry

    First time I've seen this, and should have rented it sooner.

    All I can say is that it has changed my view of Hillary Swank. I always looked at her as she was in The Next Karate Kid and wrote her off. I might have to see her new film Million Dollar Baby now.
    Amazing film of a real life tragedy. Highly recommended.

      The movie was based on a true story. Before Boys Don't Cry came out in the theatres about 5 years ago, it was profiled on A&E. It is still one of the most disturbing stories I have ever seen. It is a good movie, but not one I'd want to see over again. If you like movie in the same vain Nick, Monster starring Charlize Theron is right up your alley. It was also based on a true story.

          Already own Monster. Going to own Boys Don't Cry as soon as I can get onto Amazon in a second...

          Swank definetly deserved that Oscar for this performance.
          One of those films that follows you around for a couple days.
          The raw-ness of emotion is incredible.

                  Excellent movie, but like Larry, I wouldn't want to watch it again. Left me feeling too emotionally shaken.
