    Robots

Thought I saw this posted here (in another subforum?) but guess not.

From the guys who did Ice Age, Robots

Ewan MacG, Robin Williams and a slew of other big names (which IMO is the exact wrong emphasis and way of casting an animated movie), that notwithstanding though, this looks pretty good. Certainly far more appealing to me than the fish retread just released. It looks to stand on genuine humor and story instead of a steady stream of industry jokes and weak stereotypes.

Looks positioned to kick the ass of my employer's chicken little effort coming out about the same time.

Brandon, which effort is that? Incredibles? That's the only other animation feature I'm aware of.

This time I'll use caps. Chicken Little.

And for the record, I don't generally refer to Pixar's films as 'ours', since our only real input is some cash.

It's a little more tangled of a deal than that, but essentially yes. The upcoming Cars will finish up that arrangement.

              "Robots" in High-Def?
              by Chris D
Well, if you go to the WMVHD website, (Windows Media Video High Definition) you'll see that "Robots" is listed as being a WMVHD DVD. However, if you follow the link from that site to purchase the DVD, you'll see that it's the standard version of Robots, not a specialized WMVHD edition....

A weekend alone with my 11 year old son, coupled with crappy weather, led to a big movie-going weekend last weekend. He loved Cars 3, Pirates 5 and the 5th robot movie.

Cars 3--better than 2 and well worth the viewing if you're a fan of the first one. Gets back to McQueen as the central...

Make no mistake about it, this is not a kids movie, it's for us young at heart types. Just pure classic fun.
The salute to the movie Stalag 17 is wonderful. (chicken coup 17,and the space heater being removed from the escape hole in the floor)

DIY Bass Traps: How Lazy Can I Go?
              by wildfire99
I'm mildly curious... just what is the most effective way to make a corner bass trap/absorber, with the least amount of effort (yeah I'm lazy).

Can I just lay rolls of fiberglass, still in the plastic packaging, in the corner? Should they be unrolled and wrapped around a hollow chicken-wire...
