I have to say I was doubtful about this one but the trailer looks pretty good to me. Allot better than say The Green Lantern.

The trailers for Green Lantern brings to mind the Batman and Robin TV series with Adam West. And, not in a good way.

Oops, I think it was the Green Hornet trailer that I saw. Whichever one is about the rich playboy with the Asian sidekick is the one I saw.

Yep Green Hornet is the one with the Asian sidekick the Green Lantern has Ryan Reynolds (aka Van Wilder) in it. Neither looks all that good.

Yeah, I think there's going to be many, many people that get the Green Lantern and Green Hornet movies mixed up, especially since they're being released in the same year, within a few months of each other. Rather strange.

Thor has possibilities - especially as they want it to tie it into Iron Man. That pushes the studio to get the production values up.

Just saw Thor today was skeptical going in but I really liked it. Not just because NataliePortman is HOT.either.

But it helped, right?

I liked it but my buddy wasn't impressed. I suspect the difference lay in the fact that I read all the old Thor comics as a kid and he had no idea of any of the backstory.

Overall, a decent superhero movie, but not close to the top tier films of the genre (Superman, The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 2, Iron Man).

Natalie never hurts except maybe the star wars prequels. I thought the guy who played Thor did a good job. He got huge! Hard to believe its the same guy who played Captain Kirks dad.
