    Favorite Cartoons

This covers a lot, but my two favorites were Johnny Quest and the Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour including all the characters. :T

A billion years ago, Johnny Quest....his life and adventures were fascinating. At or about the same time I read all the available Hardy Boys books.

Now its Jimmy Neutron with SpongeBob. The computer animation took a while to get used to compared to all the Looney Tunes but it is now my favorite.

Its not on tv but the 'stop motion' or 'clay animation' of Chicken run is good.

Since I have admitted to watching these once in a while, this message will self destruct in 10 seconds.

Patt, the same people doing claymation is on Wallace and Grommit, which is on TV and is coming to the big screen.

For me, I really like cartoons. Favorite ones, though, are probably all more adult--

            Simpsons
            Family Guy
            Futurama
            CHRIS

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

Samurai Jack - stylised, nice timing, good story
All the old school hanna barbera stuff - cheesy but awesome at the same time
Pingu - Stop motion, no dialogue, good for international audiences

Classic Looney Tunes, nothing else will do. Jetsons also.

Actually, that was Sylvester's line. Daffy's was "Youuuuu're Desthpicable!!"

Funny how the popular Looney Tunes characters often had similar speech impediments. Daffy and Sylvester had a pretty bad lisp; Tweety and Elmer couldn't pronounce the "r" sound to save their lives, and Porky Pig with his st-st-st-st-stutter. And Bugs had trouble correctly pronouncing long words.

Some of my favorite LT characters include Marvin the Martian ("I'm going to blow up the earth! Isn't that lovely?") and Wile E. Coyote (in the rare instance that he talked, he always harped on being a super genius).

                                  I'll toss in:

George of the Jungle/Super Chicken/Tom Slick
                                  Rocky and Bullwinkle
                                  Underdog
Roger Ramjet (eventually banned for his narcotic references - Proton Power Pill!)
Spidey (circa 1967- remember that music?)

I can't seem to get into any cartoons lately like i used to.
Although the new CG Spidey is cool, and i watch X-men Evolution from time to time.

Some really old cartoons listed above I havent heard about in years....Wacky Racers...Fantastic Four...Top Cat are also some oldies

Beany and Cecil... great stuff from Bob Clampett.

Ruff and Reddy and the early Hanna-Barbera stuff.

It's stop motion animation, so like Wallace and Grommit technically not a cartoon, but funny anyway
