    OUCH! 8O

I liked "A somehow stupider version of Mortal Kombat." Ouch again. Too bad, I was hoping for more.

Its still on my want to see list though...if only to see Jen in those costumes again  To be fair one review I read here said it was better then DareDevil...and I actually liked DD so there's hope it won't suck too badly.

Actually it said this....and since the title states Shockingly bad! I'm positive you won't be seeing this in the theater....unless your love for Jennifer Garner in revealing clothing is that powerful :E

        Movie Review: Elektra

        Shockingly bad!

Jennifer Garner is the best thing about superhero movie

Elektra is one of those rare sequels (or in this case, even rarer spinoffs) that are actually better than the movie that spawned them. But since that movie was 2003's gawdawful superhero flick, Daredevil, it ain't sayin' much.

Making a movie worse than catwoman would be a pretty sizeable accomplishment, IMO. I would pay money to NOT see that if necessary.

I stopped watching daredevil about a third of the way through the flick. I had no desire to see catwoman, and have even less desire to see elektra.

OK. You gonna come stand in front of me on the airplane next time they put it on? $8.50 isn't going to cover your roundtrip to Japan.

Am. But where I would be forced to endure the movie whose name we shall not speak is on big metal birds flying to aforementioned Nippon. Need you to stand between me and the screen.

I watched it because it was playing at a THX certified local theater. It was better than DareDevil, at least. For those wanting to see J. Garner in revealing clothes, I'm sure you've seen better on Alias. It's a renter, at the most.

Catwoman has earned a couple of Razzies (the Best of the Worst of 2004), so until Elektra earns some as well, we really can't answer the original question. That said, check back here same time next year.
