Red, if you want to talk cables, I've set a forum up expressly for that. http://www.thecableforum.com. I'm owner and advertiser there, but so far, the area just hasn't taken off. Someday maybe. If it does? Then I am sponsor automatically of course, the benefit to me.
The board has a policy of protecting advertisers to the extent possible. That's why there won't be a club SVS at HTGuide, nor a club cable as those are two areas where we are advertiser supported, even if, 2 cable companies are mine. But across the board, this is how I feel, whether the company is mine or not. Just check the thread on SVS and other online companies and you will see my answer was the same there concerning our support from Adire.
FYI, I gave Kimber a chance to advertise at the cable forum, but so far, nothing has happened on that. I'm sure it will if the board ever takes off. In fact, I'm sure a lot of cable co's will be adveritising if it does.

I understand your concern for advertisers, and I had forgotton about the cable forum. I always come here, and thought we could discuss theory and the such.

The problem with that Red is, every small cable company in the world will be here in a heartbeat hocking their wares, and I just can't let that happen and won't.

When looking at speaker cable specifications, What should your focus be??? In conjunction with your output source...Is it impedance, or capacitance, or what???

How bad is Monster Cable compaired to slightly more expensive cable that is $3 or $4 per foot? I am considering the Kimber Cable 4VS. How ever I also heard of some wire called CAT, but dont know price or where to buy it. -
The long standing site ban on discussion of cables, cable performance, cable preference & just about anything else relating to cables has been lifted.

I won't recant my rant about trying to find the demo at Cedia this past week, but I did hear the Audyssey/Integra demo. Apparently the real demo was offsite and you had to find some girls who were the gatekeepers. Anyway, the demo I heard was pretty good. Unfortunately, they only played the Dolby bluray...
