Anthem D2 is out with an integrated Gennum VXP scaler

For those interested, here's my impressions of the Anthem Statement D2 with screenshots with the Sony "Ruby" at 1080p.

To spend more $$$ on electronics without first addressing room acoustics is fruitless IMO.

HDMI and HD Scaler Upgrades on Halo C1?
        by ibluetooth
Does anyone know if Parasound will be releasing upgrades for their C1 or C2 that lets it accept HDMI and does video scaling to 1080p?

I'm debating between the Anthem AVM 30 and the Halo C1. I know that Anthem will be releasing an upgrade package mid next year with those upgrades. Any...

        Anthem and B&W
        by BasementJax
Has anyone had a chance to try out the newer Anthem Pre/Pros with B&W speakers (specifically the Statement D2 and AVM50)? I'll probably be in the market for a pre/pro in a few months and was leaning to Rotel 1098 + DVDO scaler, but the AVM50 is hard to ignore at $4600. I'm a little concerned because...

        A52 - will i be content?
        by TimRawson
Well, bit the bullet and ordered a A52 from local Parasound dealer.

Went through a Rotel 1056. Great unit, but wasn't completely satisfied - wasn't best match for my taste and speakers.

Decided go separates and hoping i can be happy for a while (frustrating to drop...

        DVDO Video Scaler
        by fauzigarib
        Misterdoggy and others,

I know that I should be posting this elsewhere, but you guys just seem sooo knowledgeable here!

Just had a quick operational question about your video scaler. I'm seriously considering one of these to plug into my HT and I'm wondering how do...

New Rotel DVD Player and Scaler
        by bullitt731
I spoke to my local AD today after noticing Rotel had added a new DVD player to their website. Apparently they feel this will be used as a 480i transport to mate with their new 1080i scaler. I was told the DVD player is priced at $499, and the scaler will be $1,199. My primary question to my AD was...
