    Firmware on the 2910

I went to Denon's website to check for a firmware update for my 2910. When I put in the SN it says there is none available. The Denon rep at CES said a new one was just released

Can someone tell me how I tell what firmware I have (I think each denon model is different)

    What is the current firmware

    Thanks

Got it - turn off the power with the little button
    Hold down play and open
    Wait 3 seconds
    then press 3265 menu

Mine is version 5 - the current version according to Denon

The rep I spoke to at CES lied through his teeth. He claimed Denon released a macroblocking fix for the 2910. The latest firmware release for the 2910 is still November's version 5. The 2910 is a great unit but still suffers the macroblocking issue.
