question on the innards of the 1066

greetings folks, it's been awhile since i've been busy packing up to move. last night (i waited until the last possible opportunity) i was breaking down the system to box up the gear, and i noticed something weird when i happened to glance into a vent on the top of my 1066.

it appeared to be a plastic sheath that had markings like "do not remove this cover... etc.". the problem was that it looked mis-aligned to where it should have been, exposing what looked to be a digital componenent or board... to be honest with you i was awfully weary at 11:30 last night and i hadn't payed too much attention as i was trying to box up everything.

question to the experts who've been inside their rotels: is this something i should look into, as the plastic covering looked to be completely off kilter? what is it protecting, and should i have a local dealer take a look-sie to make sure everything is status quo? it's only two months old, and a great piece of gear- don't want to compromise it's performance.

If its not plugged in to anything and you're worried it wouldn't take more then a few minutes to pop the cover off. If you don't feel comfortable doing that take it to the dealer and ask him to check it out. The peace of mind would be worth it to me if I were worried about my precious
