greetings folks, it's been awhile since i've been busy packing up to move. last night (i waited until the last possible opportunity) i was breaking down the system to box up the gear, and i noticed something weird when i happened to glance into a vent on the top of my 1066.
it appeared to be a plastic sheath that had markings like "do not remove this cover... etc.". the problem was that it looked mis-aligned to where it should have been, exposing what looked to be a digital componenent or board... to be honest with you i was awfully weary at 11:30 last night and i hadn't payed too much attention as i was trying to box up everything.
question to the experts who've been inside their rotels: is this something i should look into, as the plastic covering looked to be completely off kilter? what is it protecting, and should i have a local dealer take a look-sie to make sure everything is status quo? it's only two months old, and a great piece of gear- don't want to compromise it's performance.
