Greeting's,can you dim the front panel display on the 1068.If so can it be done with the remote control?

Don't know anything about dimming, but you can shut it off, by pressing the menu button on your rc. -
You can turn it off but you can not dim it.

In my opinion there are no dumb questions, only dumb answers. So trying to give a smart answer. Make sure that your remote is on AUD, press the menu button for a couple of seconds..... Watch the display disappear!!!!Comment

i was wondering if anyone can offer advice on something. i am considering a separate power amp, possibly a rotel RMB-1095. rotel tells me there are reports of a "hum" being amplified by the system when the unit is installed on a circuit that has a dimmer switch on the same circuit.
