Anyone know about Rotel at CES?

I'm trying to figure out if there are any special showings at CES for a number of manufacturers. Frequently they have a small booth in the convention center but a room set up for a real demonstration elsewhere.

I think I'll probably try and track down

Rotel - hoping for info on a new preamp - not in their current line up


I think if I end up going to the really high end stuff I'll just be wanting even more stuff that is further out of my price range than these are.

Rotel normally has a suite at the Hotel not on the floor and has an open invite to all their dealers etc to drop by. I'm not sure about the public visiting but I'm trying to find out.

I'm planning to upgrade to the 1068 and 1075 in the near future. Has there been any news of any new pre/pros and amps for HT coming out soon?

Does Rotel typically release new equipment in any particular season? EG after the CEDIA shows. Might as well wait for the newest models since I'm not in a rush.

Well the 1068/1056/1067 were just released in spring and the 1098 not long before them so I'd say you've got a while. They will be introducing a new 7-channel digital amp but I don't foresee any major amp changes in the near future for the rest of the lineup. If they do I doubt they'll be that signifigant performance-wise.
