    Thinking about 1075 amp but...

I'm wondering if it has the same hum/grounding issue as some of the 1095 amps are having?

The other amps I thinking about are ATI 1805, Anthem mca50 or a Rotel 1080 & 1066 combo. 1080 for fronts and 1066 bridged for center and rears.

Oh, I have Paradigm Ref. Studio 20's (front)
    Ref. Studio CC
    Mirage OM-2R (rears)

I'd be upgrading from a Marantz SR-8000 Receiver.

    Thanks

    hey
1075 has no problems at all, I have it now for almost a year and it runs like a charm, I use it for 4 surrounds and Centre .
    Hope this helps.

I have had my 1075 for eighteen months and not the slightest of hums have been heard.

          Rmb 1075

          Hey vaa,

Go for it :T, the 1075 is truly an amazing amp.

Oh, yes I wouldn't consider bridging an amp as you suggest with the 1066.

I see no problem with triple bridging the 1066...I mean, it means you use a 1080 for the fronts, which will be awesome. It's also goign to be more expensive though, since retail on the 1075 and 1080 is the same.

And the 1075 is built on an entirely different platform versus the 1095. It's the 1080 and 1095 that had the grounding problems.

The 1075 is a fine beast. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
