    Biamping center on 1066

I would like to biamp the center channel and was wondering if I can use the CTR1 and the CTR2 for that. Do they both output the same signal?

Phillip, the CTR1 & 2 send out a non-amplified signal that is intended to go to an amplifier not the speaker directly....but yes they do send out the same signal. Some larger theaters or user like to use two center channels, either left and right or one up and one below a screen for instance. If you wanted to biamp your center channel I guess you could use the second preout from the 1066 if your first amp does not have an RCA passthrough which is probably the case or you wouldn't be asking. So if you have another amp lying around, sure fire her up and she how she sounds. That's a long winded way of saying "YES!" LOL...

Last week i got another RB-1080 (stock is almost gone so i wanted to have another one which i'll use maybe for rears, maybe for center, maybe for next room, maybe to try biamping, so i thinked that definitly is not a waste).

      Biamping the HTM2D?
      by mtlrx
Hi everyone, first post. I am wondering if it's worth biamping the HTM2d. I will be getting 802d and want to biamp them with Bryston 6b(3 channel) 300w/channel amps but wondering if it's worth biamping the HTM2D. If I do biamp the HTM2D I will get another 6b or should I just get a 4b(2 channel) also...

      Biamp Wire Configuration

I am considering purchasing a second Rotel 1095 unit to biamp two 1095 units (2x 200w x 5) which would allow me to biamp my center and two fronts (six channels) and then use a single channel for surrounds and rears. I was thinking of upgrading the fronts by adding a 2 channel amp while now getting...

      Rotel 1095 Amps & B&W802 = biamping make a difference?
      by jazznsoccer
      Hi All,

I demo'd B&W speakers and settled on the 802's (higher up was beyond my point of pain for speakers). I really liked the 802's over the 803. Alll tests were done using the Rotel RMB-1095.

I've heard that most people would suggest getting a better amp, but there...

      Biamping option on a 3way
      by augerpro
Say I had built those Dayton 3way speakers and used one of those biamping jacks where you can biamp or run normally. Will running biamped screw up the functioning of the crossover? From what little I've learned so far the components in a 3way (particularily) "react" with each other quite a...
