Club Rotel, do you have pics?

I did not check to see if there was a previous thread. I know some of you have posted photos of your systems, but I thought maybe we can kinda "'round them up" with this thread.

    Wng,

There is a photo gallery for all Home Theater Guide members. Click on the Gallery button at the top right of the screen. Please add your pictures. I also enjoy looking at other peoples systems and setups.

My system is there but slightly outdated.

The website of the makers is: http://www.finite-elemente.de

Its a so called spider rack. Its completely dead, i.e., no vibrations that are passed on to the rack are noticeable, which means you only hear your equipment. You can completely order it to your liking, so choose your height, number of levels etc. The one I have can carry 50kg per level, but there is a level version which is thicker and can carry 100kg! Mine is 90cm high. Its not cheap. In my configuration its about 1200 euro, but its worth every euro

                                Hey guys,

I couldnt resist posting these pics here. Two days ago I got my new RB1090 and I've placed everything in my rack with the smallest component on top, and the biggest ones down.
So the components (from top to bottom):
                                Onkyo DV-SP800 (SACD/DVD/DVD-A/CD player)
                                Rotel RSP1066 Surround Processor
                                Rotel RMB1075 multi-channel poweramp
Rotel RB1090 Stereo poweramp. Its built like two monoblocks in one chassis.

Scarp, sweet nectar of......... that is just beautiful. I was scrolling through this thread yesterday looking for your old photo but I see you've been busy. Congrats on the 1090 and good luck with the speaker upgrades.

I have some pics and I recently made some upgrades, including B&W CDM 7NT and CNT. Pics of the new stuff are on the second page. http://community.webshots.com/album/61164572OKtLPk

Just finishing installing the new Bryston 4BSST in there. Like you can see, didn't had time to do some "cable management"...

To spend more $$$ on electronics without first addressing room acoustics is fruitless IMO.

Martin could ride his rack with those wheels! I don't think he likes to be a contortionist, huh? Nice job on your rack Martin.

                                                          Hey Scarp ,

How did the 604's sound with the RB1090 as opposed to the RB1070?

The 1090 sounds a lot better. The 1070 was already very good at handling the 604's, but the 1090 is just some better. Bit deeper bass, bit more control.

I say "bit more" because the 604's just seem to limit the things that the 1090 can do. The 604's are just at their limit, but the 1090 can do soooo much more. So normally a 1070 is more than sufficient to handle 604's.

However I did this upgrade since next saturday I will get my new B&W Nautilus 804's and they will appreciate the 1090 more. A 1070 wouldnt be sufficient anymore.

Also another pic from the Netherlands. Many of you asked for racks, so here is a DIY rack with Rotel equipment:

The picture isn't that sharp, but will do for now

p.s. The rack looks a bit round, but thats not true, its the image that let it look round!
