I have connected my RSX-1067 to my pc and after I click connect in the download software, turn on my unit, I receive the "will you download new program?" question and try to enter the number 1 from my keyboard and nothing happens. Help?

Are you using the Rotel programming cable or did you make your own? One way communication is a good sign of the pin-out being wrong (TX from PC not connected right).
If you are using the Rotel cable, are you using a USB adapter to get the serial port? You may need a different adapter. I've seen some partially work before.

OK I would like to hear from people who have successfully used a USB to serial adapter/converter cable to update the firmware on their 10 or 15 series processor or AVR. I want to be able to use my laptop to do this update which is Vista 64bit. I am trying to update my RSP-1069

I have a extra LCD monitor sitting around the house with a VGA connection only. I would like to use this monitor for gaming PS2 or XBOX, but have no way of connecting it. Does anyone know of an adapter that would work? Is there a RCA to VGA adapter out there?
