Patrick is this an abandoned design for the 15 series with matt sides insted of shiny ones.

I have an RSP1572 and sometimes it shows pty on the screen just as in the attached picture. What is it and when does it come on.

I would hazard a guess that its related to when using your FM tuner. Pty is programe type when using RDS (radio data system).
