Wow, and they actually show both colors...what a concept! I'm not sure about the black now that I see it...gold labels with silver knobs. Ugh.
BTW, how did you find these? They are no links to them from the Home page.
I see also that some of the pictures show components that have been mentioned yet...like the RC-1580 pre-amp. :EBrad- Bottom

The stereo components will be shown (more than likely) at CES and be shipping in the first quarter of next year. They thought it would be too much of an undertaking to redo the whole line at once so they started with the bread and butter HT and install products.Originally posted by BlindamoodI see also that some of the pictures show components that have been mentioned yet...like the RC-1580 pre-amp. :E

On second exam, the pre/pro looks like it has silver knobs while the receiver appears to have black knobs. Strange.- Bottom

Yeah, you might be right about the black knobs. Straight on they look silver, but when pictured at an angle, they look black.Originally posted by shadow 8Think the knobs are black not silver.

Thanks for those!!!
Man, just when I thought I was safe with not spending any more money on my HT...these come out... ha ha
Well it looks like I'll have to find a buyer for my RSP-1098 once they replace that model! wooo hooo (until I see the price tag)
I have to say the pictures of the silver don't look as bad as I first thought... And I like the silver components, but I might have to switch over to black.
They need to ship them with both face plates! ha ha.Digital Audio makes me Happy.

NEWS:
ROTEL: Rotel is a conservative company that tends to make careful, evolutionary changes, so it’s a very big deal when the company rolls out an entirely new-from-the-ground up series of products. Rotel’s new 15-series components introduce new technologies and a visually impressive new industrial design motif we think many customers will love (the look is one part Rotel, one part Classe, and 100 percent appealing).
New models include the RSP-1570 surround sound processor/preamp ($2499), a pair of class D-powered A/V receivers—the 7x100-watt RSX-1560 ($2999) and the 5x100-watt RSX-1550 ($2299), and a quartet of new class D power amplifiers—the 5x250-watt RMB-1575 ($3199), the 5x100-watt RMB-1565 ($1499), the 2x250-watt RB-1572 ($1499), the 2x100-watt RB-1562 ($899), a 12channel installation amplifier RMB-1512 ($3499), a 6 channel installation amplifier RMB-1506 ($1149), and a 2 channel installation amp RMB-1510 ($699)
With this new series, Rotel have products that look fresh, offer the latest processing features and Dolby/DTS codecs, plus a new take on Rotel’s traditionally strong emphasis on analog audio performance.- Bottom

by WassyI was wondering if anyone knows if you can connect a graphic equalizer to a RC1580 preamp. If so how would it be connected? Tape 1 or tape 2 ? Not sure as there is no tape monitor button .-
