    Rotel RLC 1080

Could someone tell me the equivalent APC model to the Rotel RLC 1080 and the retail prices of both? Anyone have any feedback on either one, good or bad?

    Thanks!
    Ted

I believe the 1080 is the same as the S15 from APC.

The 1080 retails for $1600, the APC retails for $1499 (but can be had for much cheaper).

Thanks Kevin, as always your help is appreciated! Do you have any experience with it (either personally or any customer feedback)? How about the RLC 1040?

      Thanks again...

I've got the RLC-1040, as do several others here. Mine has been great so far. See this thread for a bit more (and pics):

          I've got the RLC-1080...

Run everything through it - 5 channels of 200 watt power - a 37in flat panel - preamplifier - Source pieces - music server - subwoofer... works great

I love pulling the power plug from the wall while everything is running and friends are over... (Jaws drop) 8O

The "Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity" web site has posted a new review of the Rotel RLC-1080 Power Conditioner. Overall, the review is positive, but they focused mainly on the battery backup capabilities of this unit. That feature is the primary difference between this model and...

I was noticing that the power centers made by rotel have an APC sticker or label on them below the LCD window. I also know that there is an international company called APC that specifically makes electrical power centers/conditioners, cables, swiches, etc. for the home and for industrial purposes....

            Question on the RLC-1040 conditioner
            by fullmoonwolf
New to this forum so be easy on me. I just purchased an HT system consisting of a Rotel RSX-1057 AV receiver, PSB T65 fronts, C60 center, and S50 surrounds. HSU VTF-3 MK3 sub. It has taken me over two years to convince the bride on this endeavor. So, I have been considering the APC H15 power conditioner...
