I have a Rotel RC1090 pre, RB1092 amp (500w/ch) and a Rega P5 TT with the optional TTPSU (power supply). On the pre, 7 o'clock position is '0' and the 5 o'clock position is '10'. When I get the volume to about the 10 o'clock position I get feed back through the tonearm. What is a good solution here for the problem? My TT is about 15 feet from my speakers (N804 & ASW800). Any suggestions welcomed.

by kmakHi,
I'm finding I have to gingerly lift the tonearm off the LP on some slightly warped albums that I own. The lever doesn't give enough clearance. Is there an elevation adjustment?
Thanks,
Ken-

by JeffThere has been much discussion about DAC lately, which I like. As a result I'm narrowing my DAC considerations.
Should extra consideration be given to those DAC's which can be connected directly to the amp? Would connecting it to a separate (additional) pre amp be less desirable?...-

by jim1961When taking measurement at the listening position, do you guys:
1) Point the mic strait ahead
2) Point the mic directly at the speaker
3) Position the mic so its receiver is where your ear is
4) Other (please explain)-
