    [seeking] RSP-106x Serial Control Software

    Hello,

    I am pretty sure, that I have seen (and downloaded) a VisualBasic software, that would implement the RSP-1068 or RSP-1098 RS 232 protocol in a neat control software. Thoguh, I do not find it anymore. Neither on my harddisk nor on the web (it was a few years ago I d'lded it).

    Does anyone know of what I am talking and maybe has a link ? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

      Here's a version I had. I don't think he ever updated it for the 1098, but if you know VB it shouldn't be hard.

              I periodically monitor the Parasound website, and today noticed that they now have Crestron control information posted as PDF files for the Zpre2 and the Zhd.

              Worthwhile for those who use Crestron control. (or an RS-232 control like it)

              i was surprised to find so little about the rs232 port searching the forum. are most people not trying to use their computers to control their equipment? it seems more and more people are using htpcs so i thought there would be more interest in controlling the stereo equipment via computer as well....
