Now that the 1068 exists, does this mean that Rotel is done with upgrades for the 1066?

I am not certain, but since the new line is currently in production, the 1066 will be archived, and therefore no further upgrades will be available.
However, I could be wrong.
Andrew Pratt is better qualified to answer this question, and I am sure he will respond soon.

While I can't speak for Rotel I'd guess that unless something pops up that hasn't already been addressed we have likely seen the last update for the 1066. At this point most of the bugs have been worked out and what's left can't be done with the hardware limitations that exist with that unit.

Yes the 1055 is identical to he 1066 software wise...check out the FAQ thread for details on the firmware upgrades that have been offered to date

A few months ago I read posts about popping noises from the RSP1066. I didn't pay too much attention to the threads, or the solution until MY 1066 started popping this weekend whenever the input changes modes from PLII to DD. This happens with both DVD input and SAT TV. My 1066 has firmware version... -
I followed all the instructions to a tee, everything went as was supposed to (using an old laptop with serial port and Windows 95), and according to the downloading instruction, my 1066 should power up. But it won't. It's dead as a doornail. I have downloaded three times, and each time everything appears... -

Hi, I have a rsp-1066 with 1.43 firmware and am going to upgrade my firmware to 1.47. My question is, will putting the 1.47 firmware in also cover the upgrades that acured on 1.44,1.45,and 1.46. Or do I have to download each one into the 1066? Thanks :roll: -
I've had my MC-12 a long time, true. I decided I'd check to see if there were firmware updates, that may fix any problems, or get me additional features such as newest sound formats, etc, you know true dolby, etc..whatever's current...
